Continuing Medical Education (CME) 
This program was developed to help offset costs incurred when physicians pursue accredited continuing medical education (CME). The program is administered by MSPEI.
• Fee-for-service, sessional and/or contract
• Expenses eligible for reimbursement are:
· registration fees
· up to full-fare economy flight or other travel costs up to the equivalent full-fare economy rate
· miscellaneous expenses associated with travel (e.g., taxis, tolls, etc.)
· meals (as per government travel policy)
· accommodations (unless otherwise approved, no greater than the hotel conference rate at CME site for duration of CME only)
· books, journals, educational software and other CME materials may be purchased for CME purposes whether undertaken in PEI or at other approved sites.
Please be sure to include all supporting documents (i.e. receipts, proof of attendance, proof of CME credits obtained) with your application.

Provincial Travel Policy
For expenses incurred between Jan. 1 and June 30, 2018, members have until Sept. 30th to submit their applications for reimbursement. 
2018 Submission Deadlines for expenses incurred/course attended:
January to June 2018 expenses are requested by September 30, 2018
July 2018 expenses are requested by October 31, 2018
August 2018 expenses are requested by November 30, 2018
October/November/December 2018 expenses are requested by January 31, 2019
Reimbursements are limited to $2,000 per member, however, members are encouraged to submit the full costs of related CME expenses. Should there be funds remaining at the end of the fiscal year, an additional reimbursement payment – beyond the $2,000 – may be issued.
