Meet our 2016-17 President - Dr. Scott Campbell
Dr. Campbell, a native of Prince Edward Island, completed his Bachelor and Masters Science at UPEI before obtaining his medical degree at the St. George's University School of Medicine, Grenada. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at Dalhousie University and began practice in Montague in 2008. His scope of practice includes family medicine, emergency medicine and palliative care.
Dr. Campbell is an Assistant Professor, Department of Family Medicine for Dalhousie and Memorial University and works as a Preceptor for the Prince Edward Island Family Medicine Residency program.
He has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Medical Society since 2012.
Dr. Campbell lives in Vernon River, Prince Edward Island and he is active in the Vernon River Running group. He is married to Colleen MacPherson-Campbell and they have three children: Fiona, Sophie and Beckett. Just like many Islanders you will find Dr. Campbell as a volunteer at his church, his children's school and the hockey rink!
