Physician Wellness Retreat
 
Our colleagues at the Newfoundland and Labrador Medical Association are inviting physicians from elsewhere in Atlantic Canada to join them at a physician wellness retreat they are hosting at the end of September.  It is an event that has garnered great reviews and they welcome MSPEI members to check out the details on their website and join them in the Fall.
 

 
Suicide: Facing the Difficult Topic Together - Empowering Physicians, Instilling Hope in Patients
 
The Mental Health Commission of Canada (MHCC), mdBriefCase and the Canadian Association for Suicide prevention (CASP) developed an online, suicide prevention module for family physicians. Accredited for 2.0 Mainpro+ Credits with the College of Family Physicians of Canada.

New Health Information Act - July 2017

PEI Pharmacare Formulary Updates
 
What are the special authorization criteria for the latest COPD inhalers? 
Are any of the new oral diabetes drugs covered by PEI Pharmacare?
Physicians/staff can sign up to receive a PEI Pharmacare Bulletin that summarizes formulary changes by contacting Amanda Clair at adclair@ihis.org.   Bulletins are emailed once per month. The formulary can be found online at PEI Pharmacare Formulary.
 
 
PEI Driver Permit Form Available On-Line
