By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  1. Recognize healthcare as a trauma-exposed profession. (CANmeds roles: medical expert, health advocate, scholar)
  2. List evidence-based strategies to reduce the risk of occupational stress injuries in trauma-exposed professions.  (CANmeds roles: medical expert, health advocate, scholar)
  3. Develop a personal action plan of strategies you can incorporate in your daily practice to protect your mental wellbeing. (CANmeds: communicator, collaborator, professional)
