In-person CMPA workshop: Managing unprofessional behaviour

A featured workshop from the 2025 Canadian Conference on Physician Leadership is coming to PEI this April.

MSPEI will host the CMPA workshop Managing Unprofessional Behaviours (Parts 1 and 2) on April 22 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Delta in Charlottetown (18 Queen St.).

This interactive session will explore:

  • how unprofessional behavior impacts patient safety;
  • underlying and contributing factors for physicians exhibiting unprofessional behavior;
  • concepts of procedural fairness when managing unprofessional behavior;
  • a framework for managing unprofessional behavior and how to apply it.

The program is approved by the College of Family Physicians of Canada for 7.5 Mainpro+ Certified Assessment Activity credits. Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada members may claim up to 7.5 hours.
