The CMPA Assistance Program helps offset the costs associated with obtaining medical practice insurance.
The CMPA Assistance Program is designed to help offset the costs associated with obtaining medical practice insurance. After physicians pay the initial $1,500, the remaining CMPA fees are rebated. For locum physicians, the rebate is prorated based on the number of months practiced in PEI. Rebate amounts are calculated using information provided directly by the CMPA.
No action is required on your part as this payment is issued automatically. The rebate is issued twice a year, once in August/September and the final payment is in February/March.
The rebate program is administered by MSPEI. Please submit a Direct Deposit Form to expedite payments.
